The Initial Doze — Ding ang bato!
Monday, April 25th, 2005The initial sip…the initial taste…the initial thrill…the initial doze of my crazy daily ramblings in life. Most of the people who surround me, can attest that I have never lived a single uneventful day. Yes, as much as I dont want to admit it; I am a freaking drama queen trapped behind closed curtains - I am an everyday reality TV show, sans the camera lens ( and the glorious talent fee! )…In essence, reading about my existence saves you a P150 movie ticket ( uy P122 na sa megamall kasi amoy bago na!) and a box of popcorn ( plus gas/pamasahe/parking what have you; and the insatiable need to buy everything you see along the way)…
So why am I doing all the readers out there a service of amusing them at the expense of my privacy? Easy - i dettest having free time doing nothing…Busy bee needs to be pressured and demanded of a life without rest…Besides, working graveyard unleashes thoughts you never knew existed…maybe it’s the moonbeams or the unnerving sunlight that greets you on your way out of a winter wonderland that is called PhilamLife Building….
Oh yes, this is your modern day Superwoman out to conquer the world. Ok, since we’re being very patriotic these days, this is your Darna ( ding ang bato! ), trying to stay awake 24 by 7…Imagine a regular day ( if ever I had one ) composed of managing a band and wedding planning during the day, selling outsourcing to unbelieving Americans at night, capped by sleeping for an average of 4 hours in the morning— and all these squeezed in with coffee breaks and shopping trips with girlfriends and an occasional search for my next meaningful relationship (which seems to be lost in oblivion)… Living by ziggie breaks and small frequent feeding is my everyday sustainance…
Which means, my dear patient readers, you can’t blame me for Phoebe moments and debatable nonsense thoughts unleashed to society… Just sit back and react should you find something controversial…bring it on, ding!
