When was the last time you described your lunch break as memorable? Well, mine was today, a couple of hours ago to be exact. ( Boy, I hope you’re not reading this )… In the mundane world of graveyard shifters ( nightwalkers unite! ), a text from an old fling asking you to say hi for 2 minutes, is enough excitement for the day. So, off I go down the lift to meet whats-his-name at the lobby.It rains, fortunately or unfortunately I’m still debating, so I rush to get into his car. We say our pleasantries…but the bed weather settles in and adds up to the thrill of ressurecting a flame that was never put out properly. And before I knew it, lip action! It was too hot…too steamy…too in the moment, that i forgot…i forgot ….i forgot…his car was UNTINTED!

But what made the stint one for the blogs, was what he said after the kiss…Well, that and the smiling faces of the security guards who were our sole witnesses. He goes " So, Nina, am I still on the list?"  what list? the grocery list? my phone list? duh? I’ve technically been single for the last two years and I’ve had my share of interesting men swinging around me, but I’ve never thought of myself as one who had more than her fair share for beck and call…much more, A  FREAKIN LIST!

So, what makes a guy think that a girl has a LIST? Just because majority of your closest buddies have high testosterone levels, does that make you a queen bee that has a rollodex of boylets ready to will your wishing? Being single has its ups and its downs, and enjoying it is every person’s right to indulge in. But society has a way of perceiving you differently when your past 25 and walking ephitome of a fun fearless female, does that automatically make you a b%$ch on heels?Being non - commital, or not asking for it, doesn’t mean you are playing collect and select, or you want to get the benefits from all the servants flocking at your feet, it just means you’re waiting and weighing the RIGHT ONE.

So, should I take it as an insult or as a compliment??? A day after I talk to a guy friend and was hoping for sympathy or a more elaborate explanation…but then he goes " am I on the list as well?" Again, WHAT LIST??? If there truly was one, to pick from and to call on everyday, I would be happily committed and in love with one right now. …. So, whoever you are, keeping THAT SO CALLED LIST, i’d appreciate it if you shove it my way…e-mail would be best.
